Do people celebrate Christmas in China

In China, only about 1% of people are Christians, so most people only know a few things about Christmas. Because of this, Christmas is only often celebrated in big cities. In these major cities, there are Christmas Trees, lights and other decorations on the streets and in department stores.

However, the younger generations celebrate for fun, they go out for dinners or even exchange gifts with friends. Certainly, kids in China love Christmas more than anyone else, since they can receive gifts from the parents nowadays.

Do we ever got a White Christmas in Guangzhou? No, we don’t even use heaters in Guangzhou, since the winter here is not that cold. We normally put on lots of layers when the temperature drop down to 5C degree and complaint about the cold.
